The INFORMATEC STI WEB SQL Call Accounting system is a 100% Informatec product, developed to meet the needs of centralized call accounting for customers with a high level of telephone call traffic.
The user interface, from registrations to the issuing of reports, is exclusively carried out via web browser (Internet Explorer 5) via ActiveX.
The relational database currently being used is Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
Reports can be customized via Crystal Reports, market standard, making the creation of any type of report independent of Informatec. Thus, the end-user, himself, can generate his own reports.
Enables centralized call accounting from an unlimited number of sites, with data collected via TCP/IP, dial-up or serial cable, whatever the PABX switchboard model.
The Management by Objectives module (including prepaid) enables telephone expense quotas to be attributed by extension, with the possibility of automatically blocking any extension that exceeds its quota, locally and remotely (without the need for a computer). The Current Account concept allows quotas to be transferred between current accounts (just like bank accounts).
Some of the items described are optional and are charged for separately.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND TOPOLOGY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE CALL ACCOUNTING SYSTEM
SOLUTION TOPOLOGY
MINIMUM INFRASTRUCTURE TO BE SUPPLIED BY THE CUSTOMER
Special information technology resources are required by the call accounting system (for example, the customer needs to have a suitably dimensioned server, SQL Server database etc.).
The minimum specifications are given below. Note that the SQL server database must be dimensioned according to the number of simultaneous database accesses.
A) 1 COMPUTER FOR SQL SERVER (DATABASE): - Pentium IV, 3 GHz - 2 GB RAM - "large" (the call accounting system uses 1 GB for ever million telephone calls stored), “fast” HD (SCSI recommended), preferentially mirrored. - 1 Ethernet Interface - MICROSOFT WINDOWS 2003 SERVER Operating System - MICROSOFT SQL SERVER 2005 Database, with 20 CALs - Modem + Symantec’s PC Anywhere remote access software (or an alternative Microsoft Remote Desktop access)
B) 1 COMPUTER FOR THE IIS SERVER (WEB SERVER): - Pentium IV, 3 GHz - 1 GB RAM - 80 GB HD, preferentially mirrored - 1 Ethernet Interface - MICROSOFT WINDOWS 2003 SERVER Operating System - MICROSOFT IIS Web Server - Modem + Symantec’s PC Anywhere remote access software (or an alternative Microsoft Remote Desktop access)
C) 1 COMPUTER FOR DATA COLLECTION + CONVERSION + CALL ACCOUNTING (AND, OPTIONALLY, PABX SWITCHBOARD PROGRAMMING VIA TCP/IP): - Pentium IV, 2.8 GHz - 512 MB RAM - 80 GB HD, preferentially mirrored - MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP PROFISSIONAL Operating System - 1 Ethernet Interface
D) EACH WORKSTATION (PC) WHICH NEEDS TO ACCESS THE CALL ACCOUNTING SYSTEM VIA THE BROWSER NEEDS TO HAVE: - Windows 98 or higher - Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
E) PABX SWITCHBOARD WITH: - Serial / IP ticketing interface (to connect to the collectors and / or the collection modules) - Serial/IP programming interface (to connect to the IP Serial Converter and / or to receive commands via IP, if the “Administração por metas” (Administration by Targets) module is acquired. - Network, programming (serial/IP) and ticketing (serial/IP) cables installed and operational. - 1 network point with 1 fixed IP address for each connection to the collection modules or the Informatec IP Collector.
The general performance of a computer unit is obtained by taking various factors, not only the processor speed, into consideration.
Factors such as the quality of the motherboard, the number of on-board devices, the speed of the disk units, the amount and speed of memory, good processor ventilation, processor speed, general conservation of the equipment etc., are determining factors for the end speed of the unit and the applications that run on it.
Informatec can alter the minimum requirements with no advance warning, whenever software alterations and improvements demand it. Thus, it is important to consult this minimum requirements table in our site whenever a software update is to be installed.
The call rate plans included in our call accounting system are those that are to be found on the Operators’ sites. If you need a specific tariff plan, its inclusion may need to be paid for.
