STI WINDOWS ATENAS

A solution that it is powerful and easy to use. With the STI Windows Atenas Call Accounting, you can control telephone expenses, reduce costs and optimize the use of one or more PABX switchboards, simultaneously. The standard Windows interface, coupled with Informatec's experience with call accounting systems, provides ease of operation and the ability to handle telephone calls.

ACCESS. It is a multi-user system, with access levels controlled by individual passwords. It can support network station installations, holding the database on the main computer.

REPORTS. All the reports have a carefully-prepared external appearance and can be viewed on the screen, printed on local or remote printers, saved on disk or sent by email.

CARRIER ANALYSIS. This function enables you to find out which telephone company offers the best prices for your expenses profile.

EMAIL INTEGRATION. For sending reports via SMTP, IMAP and Lotus Notes (some versions).

BACKUP. It has its own backup system which makes it convenient and easy to use for both the generation of security copies, in local or remote drives, and the recovery of stored data.

JOB SCHEDULING. All the reports and backup routines can be automated through a simple, user-friendly interface. Thus, it is, for example, possible to pre-schedule the call accounting system to issue certain reports and send them to their destinations on certain days of the month. This is all automatic.

TICKET COLLECTING. There are 3 versions of the call accounting systems, which differ in the way that the tickets corresponding to the telephone calls are collected from the PABX switchboard:

  • Remote:
    • via dial-up: STI WINDOWS ATENAS DIAL-UP
    • via WAN/LAN (TCP/IP): STI WINDOWS ATENAS NET
  • Local:
    • via serial cable: STI WINDOWS ATENAS ONLINE
    • via serial cable, integrated with PMS: STI WINDOWS ATENAS ONLINE HOTEL

CALL ACCOUNTING UPDATES. A call accounting system only works if it is up-to-date with respect to the call accounting rules in force. With a low-cost contract, you can obtain all updates over the Internet, including changes to the call accounting rules, telephone prefixes, carriers' plans and call charges. VERSIONS AVAILABLE
 
The difference in the call accounting system versions concerns the way in which the data are collected from the PABX switchboards.

The currently available versions are (click on the names for more details):

ONLINE  (collection via serial cable)

Call accounting system receives the calls sent by the PABX switchboard via serial cable (RS-232) directly at the microcomputer where the STI WINDOWS ATENAS ONLINE software is running.

Enables 1 PABX switchboard to be administered (local).

To avoid the loss of tickets if the microcomputer is switched off, the Online Collector between the PABX switchboard and the PC can be used.

Product recommended when the PABX is near to the PC (up to 15 m), or when information is needed in real time.

DIAL-UP  (collection via modem)

Call accounting system receives the calls through a modem, using the Dial-Up Collector, which stores the calls from the PABX switchboard and sends them to a central computer at programmed times.

Allows an unlimited number of PABX switchboards to be administered (remotely) on the same PC.

Product recommended when the PABX is a long way from the PC, or when it is necessary to administer more than one PABX on the same PC.

NET  (collection via TCP/IP)

Call accounting system receives the calls from the PABX switchboard via data network (TCP/IP protocol).

Allows an unlimited number of PABX switchboards to be administered (remotely) on the same PC.

Product recommended when the PABX is a long way from the PC, but is connected by a TCP/IP network. It is necessary for the PABX switchboard to have this feature.

If there is no way of connecting the PABX into the network, Informatec offers the solution of using:

IP Collector, which receives data via PABX serial cables and makes them available via Ethernet network (TCP/IP) or ticket collection via IP modules, which emulate a network connection to the PABX switchboard. For further information about these modules, consult our commercial department.
